Congratulations to Andrei Sinitar!

The Christmas Madonna by Toronto-based painter and graphic artist Andrei Sinitar has been chosen for the 2022 TSF Christmas card.

A graduate of Kyiv State Art Institute, Andrei’s works highlight the connection between our past and present. Favourite themes include landscapes of his homeland Ukraine, holidays, traditions and rituals, fairy tales and legends.

His works can be found in the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Historical Museum of Ukraine, as well as collections in Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden, the United States and Canada, including the fine art collection of Oseredok Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre.

Andrei is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Visual Artists of Canada, Federation of Canadian Artists, and National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Design our TSF Christmas card and help share holiday traditions!

The annual TSF Christmas Card is distributed to thousands of donors nationwide who, in turn, send them to friends and family worldwide. Here’s your opportunity to be a part of our Christmas campaign that shares the beauty of our Ukrainian traditions.

Submit an original artwork on a Ukrainian Christmas theme for an opportunity to have your art featured on our 2022 Christmas card.

Image must be easily reproduced on a 5×7” card.

$1000 will be awarded to the creator of the selected artwork.

Submission package must include a high-resolution jpeg together with your personal bio and photo. Material should be sent via e-mail to TSF Executive Director Bohdana Bashuk (bohdana@shevchenkofoundation.ca).
